The successful candidate will be based in our friendly and fast paced European Shared Services office in Swords County Dublin, where we employ approximately 900 people with over 29 different nationalities.

What you'll do

We are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Specialist with strong working knowledge of the Irish Tax System and experience using a Time & Attendance system in order to assist in the preparation of the monthly payroll for all of our Hertz European Service centre employees.

  • Review clockcards and rosters in Time & Attendance system (Softworks) and ensure all is completed accurately by managers within timelines specified

  • Take ownership of the maintenance of the T&A System – including Shifts, Rosters, Employee and Supervisors Access maintained

  • Collation & processing of data for Payroll run

  • Review and audit of Payroll

  • Assist in Month End preparation

  • Deal with employee related queries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Liaise with HR in relation to any employee amendments

  • Prepare employee and payroll tax payments

  • Ownership of the Travelpass and Bike to Work Schemes

  • Assist with the implementation of PAYE modernisation

  • Perform SOX control tasks

What you'll need

  • IPASS Qualification essential

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a fast paced Payroll Department

  • Experience of using a Time and Attendance system, ideally experience working with Softworks system
