The role: Taking the wheel at Hertz

The role, IT System Analyst / Application Developer will involve the support and development of applications for Hertz internal customers. You will work as a key member of a small dynamic team and be proficient in C#, SQL and SSIS.

  • Support of current and new applications

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications

  • Document interfaces between new and legacy systems

  • Understand requirements and how they translate in application features

  • Evaluate existing applications to re-program, update or add new features

  • Write high quality source code to program applications

  • Validate changes by testing programs

  • Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code

Your skills: What you’ll need for a great journey

  • Ability to work on their own initiative

  • Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions and take actions

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and strong customer service focus

  • Experience in designing and building applications

  • Ability to program in C# / SQL Server

  • Experience in developing data integrations and use of SSIS

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

  • BSc/BA in computer science or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles

  • Experience with deploying/managing applications AWS/Azure an advantage
