The Hertz Corporation IT Project Coordinator (Corp.IT Project Coordinator..Info Tech.Co-ordinator/Mentor) in Dublin, Ireland

General Responsibilities

Hertz are seeking an IT project co-ordinator to provide project co-ordination within Infrastructure Services for key tasks primarily for European PSD2 Project. The role is based at our Hertz European Service Centre.

The role: Your journey at Hertz

  • Manage the deployment of Credit Card Devices to European countries as determined by the Project Team

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information

  • Detailed tracking and reporting of key tasks such as WIFI surveys, equipment orders, installations

  • Create deployment plans /tracker per country for deployment of devices, functionality readiness.

  • Assist with managing local access / permission to work for WIFI installations in conjunction with Location Managers & IT Field Team.

  • Communicate with the relevant Vendors on order status /updates – ordered, delivered, installation & activation.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people in addition to their own team, including project sponsors, senior managers, stakeholders/customers, other project team members and managers, external agencies and vendors

  • Tracking & escalating of issues leading to creation & management of remediation plans

  • Identify gaps /risks and build efficiencies into deployment process

  • Ensure IT standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

  • Ensure Hertz policies & procedures are implemented in new project deployments

  • Working with IT Finance & IT Project Manager to track project spend

Educational Background:

  • Information Technology Diploma or equivalent experience

  • Project Co-ordinator Qualification

  • ITIL Foundation

Professional Experience:

  • 3 years+ experience in project co-ordination role.

  • IT Infrastructure Experience – Deployment of devices/systems to multiple remote locations.

  • Worked with multiple vendors to procure services & equipment.

Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of IT Mobile Devices and Telecoms

  • PMO Framework & Processes
