The Hertz Corporation IT Analyst - Technical Support Spanish in Dublin, Ireland

Our European Service Centre office based in Swords Dublin employs approximately 900 people with over 29 different nationalities and we're currently looking for a Spanish speaking IT Analyst.

We will offer successful candidates who are overseas a relocation package.

What you'll do

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for VDI related issues in Spain and the rest of Europe

  • Effectively communicate with users to collect information and understand the issues they are experiencing and perform diagnostic procedures to isolate and resolve the issues

  • Provide technical support to customers via telephone, e-mail and IM/chat

  • Perform troubleshooting tasks as required for problems relating to user logins, passwords, networks and applications

  • Comprehend bespoke software configurations, knowledge bases and implementation procedures

  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of leadership within the organisation both in writing and orally

  • Provide timely updates so that progress against each individual incident can be updated as required

  • Write and review high quality technical documentation

  • Support, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of the desktops including patch updates and hardware replacements

  • Provide call and video conferencing support

  • Provide effective VP (Vice President), SMT (Senior Management Team) & Executive support

  • Ensure continuous process improvement methodologies are implemented

  • Build strong relationships with customers, peers, stakeholders and vendors

  • Provide user training sessions and workshops

  • Demonstrate excellent customer facing skills and be able to manage complex scenarios

  • Be able to explain issues and resolutions to customers who possess varying levels of technical skills

  • Set-up, configure, move and support internal hardware and software applications

What you'll need

  • Fluency in English and Spanish

  • Working knowledge of French, Italian or German is a plus

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a desktop support analyst working in an International enterprise IT infrastructure support and service delivery environment

  • Proven ability to resolve IT issues in a large-scale organisation with global IT resolver groups

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral

  • Ability to assess, analyse and research technical situations and provide viable alternatives

  • A high degree of competency in problem assessment and solving within an ITIL support services framework

  • Experience working with enterprise desktops deployments using Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 operating systems

  • Working with desktop productivity Microsoft O365 and related office suite of products

  • Deployment and remote management toolsets such as Microsoft System Center Configuration manager (SCCM)

  • Applications Support including MS SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Cisco WebEx

  • Using Active Directory to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Working with desktop security products and knowledge of Bit-Locker & McAfee security systems

  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, iOS and Android Operating Systems

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, desktop support processes and ServiceNow incident and workflow management system

  • Asset management systems experience

  • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
