The Hertz Corporation Employee Planning Specialist - Operations in Dublin, Ireland

General Responsibilities

Hertz is looking for a meticulous, self-motivated and experienced Employee Planning Specialist to assist the Operations Team in organising the scheduling and assignment planning of all our 400 Contact Centre employees.

This person will also serve as a key contact for all employees to successfully address issues relating to staff scheduling / assignments.

The role: Taking the wheel at Hertz

Responsible for scheduling of assigned markets within the Hertz European Service Centre and to work closely with the forecaster in ensuring all distribution patterns are staffed according and to minimise impact in critical intervals.

To accurately forecast daily call volumes for assigned markets and based on these forecasts to schedule all call handling agents, accounting for call distribution and fluctuating business patterns.

  • Produce and maintain the employees’ shift rotation assignments based on the forecasted call volumes and staffing requirements.

  • Reporting of metrics within the Call Center

  • To accurately manage holidays based on market availability & business needs.

  • To monitor call distribution and update Call Distribution sheets were necessary.

  • Communicate & liase with the IT Team to ensure system problems are dealt with efficiently.

  • To support market management in all business analysis.

  • Headset troubleshooting.

  • Enhance communication between Planning Operations, Business Planning and the Markets in order to maximise productivity on a daily basis

  • To monitor attendance and any issues impacting the business.

  • Maintenance of the Workforce Management System to ensure all offline activity is managed appropriately.

  • Ensure, information regarding telephony routings, forecasts groups, staff groups and employee details are accurate.
